Welcome to Madison School
It is the mission of South Holland School District 151, in collaboration with parents, communities and businesses, to be committed to educational excellence by providing opportunities in a wholesome, nurturing environment; preparing all students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens, who can meet the challenges of society.
On Monday, October 12, 2020, our male mentoring group, MSWAP (Madison Students with Academic Pride), dedicated their 1st Legacy Garden Culinary Event to Mr. David Halberstadt, a teacher of Madison School who passed away January 2019.
Along with the sponsors of MSWAP and a master gardener, a raised-bed garden and greenhouse was built where they planted bell peppers, cucumbers, mint, tomatoes, lettuce, collard greens and more.
The event was attended by the South Holland Garden Club, Aldermen, Realtors and many others.
